Treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus

• It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Tenglyn Tablet as it may increase the chances of life-threatening conditions like Lactic Acidosis
• Do not take a double dose of this tablet if you missed a dose, take it soon as possible if there is time but if its time for your next dose skip the missed dose and follow the regular schedule as prescribed by your doctor

• Diabetes (glipizide, gliclazide, glimepiride)
• High blood pressure (atenolol, bisoprolol, metoprolol, nadolol, propranolol)
• Anti-depressant (bupropion, selegiline, isocarboxazid, phenelzine)
• Painkillers (aspirin)

• Do not skip delay or miss your meals regularly
• Always carry some sugary food or fruit juice with you in case you experience hypoglycemia symptoms
• Inform your doctor if you notice joint pains or develop symptoms such as stomach pain, nausea, and/or vomiting
• Follow a healthy diet, exercise regularly, and maintain a healthy lifestyle as recommended by your doctor
• Inform your doctor about your medical history, including any existing health conditions, allergies, or medications you are taking, before starting Tenglyn Tablet

• Hypoglycemia or low blood glucose level
• Constipation
• Upper respiratory tract infection
• Headache
• Nausea and Vomiting
• Nasopharyngitis (infection of nose and throat with common cold)
• Skin allergy (Itching, rashes)
• Inflammation of pancreas
• Diarrhea
• Joint pain
• Increased liver enzymes (seen in blood tests)
