Treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults

• This medicine must not be taken with alcohol as it can cause hypoglycemia or other side effects
• Avoid intake of Fish Oil (omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids)
• This medicine is not for children under 18 years of age it is only for the treatment of adults

Glimestar 2 Tablet is not safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding as it can harm your baby. Consult your doctor regarding the usage of anti-diabetes medications

• Avoid skipping or delaying breakfast, lunch, or dinner
• Monitor your blood sugar levels daily while you take this medicine
• Avoid stressful tasks or any work that requires concentration and focus
• It can cause hypoglycemia or low blood sugar levels
• Always carry some sugary food or fruit juice or chocolate to get immediate relief from hypoglycemia symptoms (cold sweating, fainting and dizzy feeling, shaking of body parts without control, anxiety, fear, confusion)
• Get your liver functions checked regularly by your doctor
• Eat food that has low fat and sugar
• Inform your doctor if you develop symptoms, such as stomach pain, loss of appetite, or jaundice (skin and eyes become yellow)

Overdose of Glimestar 2mg Tablet may cause low blood sugar levels than normal or hypoglycemia. Severe cases of hypoglycemia with loss of consciousness and coma need immediate medical help and hospital admission
