Treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults

• Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this tablet as it may cause high or low sugar levels in the body

• Do not miss eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner as it can cause low sugar levels
• Always carry sugar or honey, chocolate, or juice if you feel symptoms of low sugar while taking this medicine (sweating too much, fainting sensation, dry mouth, and dry skin condition)
• Do not do any stressful tasks or work that requires heavy focus and concentration
• Get your kidney and liver function checked by your doctor and monitor them regularly along with your blood sugar levels
• Tell your doctor if you get symptoms like abdominal pain, fatigue, loss of appetite, dark colour urine, or yellow eyes and skin (jaundice)
• Take food with low fat and sugar and try to control your weight as much as possible
