Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in adults

• Avoid skipping or delaying breakfast, lunch, or dinner
• Monitor your blood sugar levels daily while you take this medicine
• Avoid stressful tasks or any work that requires concentration and focus
• It can cause hypoglycemia or low blood sugar levels
• Always carry some sugary food or fruit juice or chocolate to get immediate relief from hypoglycemia symptoms (cold sweating, fainting and dizzy feeling, shaking of body parts without control, anxiety, fear, confusion)
• Get your liver functions checked regularly by your doctor
• Eat food that has low fat and sugar
• Inform your doctor if you develop symptoms, such as stomach pain, loss of appetite, or jaundice (skin and eyes become yellow)

Patients with severe renal or liver disease or genetic issues affecting red blood cells (G6PD-deficiency) or who are scheduled for surgery or the person who have allergic to Amaryl 1mg tablet

Q. How long does Amaryl 1mg Tablet take to work?
It takes between two and three hours for Amaryl 1mg Tablet to lower blood sugar. Even if you don't see a change, the medication is still likely still working. Continue taking the medication as prescribed by your doctor, and talk to them if you have any concerns

• This medicine must be avoided if you have type 1 diabetes mellitus, diabetic ketoacidosis, severe kidney or liver disease
