Treatment of High blood pressure (Hypertension)

• Avoid drinking alcohol as it can cause lower blood pressure than normal
• Do not take a double dose if you miss taking a tablet, take it as soon as possible or skip the missed dose if its time for your next dose

• Other blood pressure treating medicines
• Pain killers
• Medicines for heart failure and irregular heartbeats
• Bipolar disorder medication
• Immunosuppressants

Telsartan-AM 40 Tablet is not safe to use during pregnancy but it is safe to use if properly prescribed only for breastfeeding mothers

• Telsartan-AM 40 Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness
• Avoid stress or tasks that require focus
• Avoid consuming alcohol as it may enhance the blood pressure-lowering effect of this medicine
• It can cause ankle or foot swelling. Raise your legs while you are sitting down and talk to your doctor if it does not go away
