Treatment of High blood pressure or Hypertension

• Avoid drinking alcohol when you take this tablet as it will reduce your blood pressure even lower than normal
• Do not take a double dose of this medicine if you ever miss a dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular schedule as prescribed by your doctor
• Avoid taking potassium-rich foods, drinks, or supplements

Inform your doctor if you take any of the following medicines as they may interact with Telma H
 

• Medicines that are taken for mood changes or disorders
• Anti-diabetes medicines
• Medicines for heart problems
• Erectile dysfunction medication
• Cholesterol reducing medicines
• Immunosuppressants
• Tablets that are taken to treat hypertension

Telma H Tablet is not safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, both pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers must consult their doctor regarding the use of this medicine

• This medication can cause dehydration, drink plenty of water and take a lot of fluids to avoid dehydration
• This tablet may cause a fainting sensation and dizziness, do not do any highly stressful tasks that require focus
• Frequent urination is not a side effect of this medicine as it is part of this medication's purpose to control your blood pressure

Telmisartan:

• Fainting sensation or Dizziness
• Back pain
• Diarrhea
• Sinus infection
• Cold or Flu symptoms
   

Hydrochlorothiazide:

• Headache
• Sickness or vomiting sensation
• Increased blood uric acid
• Decreased potassium level in blood
• Glucose intolerance
• Altered blood lipids

Irregular Heartbeats, Low BP, Fainting or Blackout, Kidney Failure (Overdose)

The Tablet can be taken at a time prescribed by your doctor before or after mealtime. Swallow the tablet as a whole do not chew, crush or break it
