• This tablet also prevents heart attacks or strokes in the future and preserves the kidney function of diabetic patients

It is not safe to take Telma 20 Tablets during pregnancy. Breastfeeding mothers can consult their doctor and get the medicine safely prescribed

• The medicine can make you feel weak and unsteady when you take it for the first time for a few days
• Your doctor will regularly check the amount of urea, creatinine, and potassium in your blood. Take the necessary tests 
• Avoid taking medicines that are used for redness, swelling, or pain (anti-inflammatory drugs) when you use Telma 20 as they may increase potassium levels in your blood
• Avoid foods that are potassium-rich or any potassium supplements
• Avoid smoking, alcohol and reduce the amount of salt taken with food and check your blood pressure regularly

No, Telma 20 Tablet contains Telmisartan which is an Angiotensin II receptor blocker

• Patients with kidney or liver disease or diabetes must consult their doctor and cautiously take properly prescribed doses of this medicine
• This Tablet can cause hyperkalemia (high potassium levels in the blood) if taken along with potassium-rich foods or supplements, avoid those foods as it may cause kidney failure, paralysis (not able to move hands, legs, body), and irregularity in your heartbeats
