Treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults

• Avoid drinking alcohol when you take Reclimet OD 60 Tablet as it may cause sudden low sugar levels (hypoglycemia) or lactic acidosis which is life-threatening
• Do not take a double dose of this tablet if you miss a dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular schedule as prescribed by your doctor

Inform your doctor if you take any of the following medicines before you take Reclimet OD 60
 

• Insulin
• Tablets that are taken to control High BP
• Diuretics (increase urine production)
• Tablets that are taken for a heart failure condition
• Tablets that are taken for hypertension
• Steroids
• Thyroid hormone

Reclimet OD 60 Tablet is not safe to take during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers must consult their doctors regarding this

• Check your blood sugar level daily when you take Reclimet OD 60 Tablet to know if your condition is improving 
• Do not miss eating healthy food or skipping breakfast, lunch, or dinner as you may get low sugar problems
• Your liver functions must be regularly checked by your doctor, inform them if you have stomach pain, loss of appetite, or jaundice (yellow eyes and skin)
• Avoid stressful activities and avoid food with too much fat content

• Lactic Acidosis (Rare high lactic acid level in blood)
• Taste change
• Nausea & Vomiting sensation
• Dizzy feeling
• Diarrhea
• Flatulence (Gas)
