Q. What should I keep in mind while taking Bharglob?
Bharglob can reduce the efficiency of some vaccines (like measles/mumps/rubella or chickenpox vaccines). So, before you get any vaccines, tell your doctor that you are taking Bharglob. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant or if you are breastfeeding.

Q. If I feel fine, does it mean that I can discontinue my treatment with Bharglob?
No, it means that you are responding well to the treatment. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own because if you do so your body would no longer be able to fight infections and you would be putting yourself at risk. However, in case of doubt, you should always talk to your doctor.

Q. How long will it take for Bharglob to start working?
Your symptoms may take 3-4 weeks to improve. This duration can vary depending on the disease you have and the way you respond to the treatment.

Q. Can Bharglob cause kidney damage?
Yes, Bharglob can cause kidney damage but not in everyone. Patients having a pre-existing kidney problem, diabetes and hypovolemia (a decrease in the volume of circulating blood) are at risk of developing kidney failure. Additionally, patients who are overweight, over 65 years of age and who are using medicines that can cause kidney damage are also at risk of developing kidney failure. Also, Bharglob containing sucrose, fructose or maltose are more likely to cause kidney damage.

No, Bharglob does not cause hair loss. Hair loss could be due to your existing condition.
