Stanpen 500 Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections, syphilis and prevention of rheumatic fever.

Consuming alcohol with Pentids 200 Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.

Pentids 200 Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

• You have been prescribed Penicillin G/Benzylpenicillin for the treatment of bacterial infections.
• Finish the prescribed course, even if you start to feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.
• Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
• Inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking this medicine.

Pentids 200 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Stanpen 500 Tablet is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

Q. Can Stanpen cause allergic reaction?
Although it is rare but yes, Stanpen can cause allergic reaction and is harmful to use in patients with known allergy to penicillins. Get emergency medical help if you have any of the signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Pentids 200 Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
