Prednosis 4mg Tablet is used in the treatment of severe allergic reactions, allergic conditions, asthma, rheumatic disorder, skin disorders, eye disorders and nephrotic syndrome.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Nucort-M8 Tablet DT

Nucort-M8 Tablet DT may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

• Methylprednisolone helps treat inflammation, severe allergies, flare-ups of ongoing illnesses, and many other medical problems that require either reduction of inflammation or suppression of the immune system.
• Do not use it more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.
• Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach.
• Methylprednisolone can make it harder for you to fight off infections. Notify your doctor if you have any signs of infection such as a fever or sore throat.
• Side effects such as mood changes or stomach problems can happen when you start taking Methylprednisolone. Inform your doctor if this bothers you.
• Do not stop taking Methylprednisolone suddenly without talking to your doctor first as it may worsen your symptoms.

Nucort-M8 Tablet DT is to be taken with food.
Avoid Nucort-M8 Tablet DT with dietary sodium.

Prednosis 4mg Tablet is a steroid which works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies.

Q. Is Prednosis a steroid or an antibiotic drug?

Q. Can I take Prednosis if I have high blood pressure?
You can take Prednosis if you have high blood pressure, only when prescribed by your doctor. It is prescribed in such situation when benefit outweighs the risk

Nucort-M8 Tablet DT is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
