• Nicergoline helps in the prevention and treatment of migraine headaches.
• Do not take it to treat an acute attack of migraine.
• Some tips that may help avoid a migraine attack:\n\n

  • Have your meals at the same time everyday
  • \n
  • Avoid bright lights and extreme temperatures
  • \n
  • Avoid loud music and noisy places
  • \n
  • Avoid chocolates,  cheese, processed food, alcohol and smoking
  • \n
  • Get sufficient sleep and avoid stress
  • \n

• It should be taken at night-time before going to bed.
• It may cause sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how Nicergoline affects you.
• Do not stop taking the medication suddenly as it can cause worsening of headaches.

Nicerbium Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

Migraine headaches are thought to result from the dilatation of blood vessels in the head. Cholergol Tablet works by constricting (narrowing) these blood vessels, thereby relieving the migraine headaches.

Q. What is Cholergol used for?
Cholergol is a vasoactive drug that is used in disorders related to blood vessels in the brain (including vascular dementia), eye (including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy) and other parts of the body (including Raynaud’s syndrome, migraine) that impair the blood flow to these organs and affect their functioning.

It is not known whether Nicerbium Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
