Magnista Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

This drug can be taken orally for constipation. But for rest of the indication it is usually given by a doctor or a nurse as an injection directly into the vein or muscle.Do not give oral magnesium sulphate to children under 12 years.Antibiotics should be taken either 2 hours prior or 4 hours after taking magnesium sulphate.Do not take magnesium and consult your doctor:

• If you suffer from bleeding disorder, heart block, kidney problems, or breathing problems.
• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
• If you are taking medicines acting on nervous system, for heart problems, for high blood pressure.
• If you are going to be given an anesthetic.
