Irovel H Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol

Irovel H Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

• It can make you feel dizzy for the first few days. Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down for a long time.
• Your doctor may get regular tests done to monitor the level of  urea, creatinine, and potassium in your blood.
• Avoid taking anti-inflammatory medicines such as ibuprofen, along with this medicine without consulting your doctor.
• Do not take Irbesartan if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Do not stop taking it suddenly without talking to your doctor.

Irovel H Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Irbepex Tablet is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It relaxes blood vessel by blocking the action of a chemical that usually makes blood vessels tighter. This lowers the blood pressure, allowing the blood to flow more smoothly to different organs and the heart to pump more efficiently.

Q. Is irbesartan an alpha /a beta blocker/ calcium channel blocker/an ace inhibitor/a statin/ diuretic/ nitrate?
No. Irbesartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker

No. Both are different drugs of the same class; however, they differ in their pharmacokinetic profile

Q. Can I take ibuprofen with irbesartan?
Use of ibuprofen with irbesartan may reduce the effects of irbesartan in lowering blood pressure. In addition, if this combination is taken frequently, it may affect the kidney function

Yes. You can take paracetamol with irbesartan

Yes. Irbepex may lower your heart rate

Q. Does Irbepex cause constipation/ weight gain/ hair loss/ erectile dysfunction / impotence/ diarrhea/ ringing in the ears/ depression?
No. Irbepex does not cause any of the above side effects. However, if you experience such side effects please consult your doctor immediately.
