• Invasive infections occur when the infection spreads from the lungs to the skin, kidneys, brain, and heart due to a lack of immunity
• This occurs in patients who are in cancer therapy, undergoing transplantation, or if they have any immunity disorder
• Avoid doing any work that requires focus or concentration while taking this medicine as it can cause drowsiness
• Get medical help immediately if you have continuous sick feeling and vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach pain, skin and eyes becoming yellow, or dark urine as these are the symptoms of liver damage

Isavuconazole stops the spread of fungal infection by blocking an enzyme required for ergosterol synthesis. Without ergosterol, fungal cell membranes or wall strengthening is blocked so the fungi stop growing, multiplying, and spreading
