Bucelon 2 Tablet Uses:

Bucelon 60mg Injection is used in the treatment of blood cancer (chronic myeloid leukaemia). It is used in combination with other cancer medicine during hematopoietic progenitor cell transplantation (HPCT).

Bucelon 2 Tablet composition:

Busulfan 2mg

Interactions / Warnings:

It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Bucelon 2 Tablet. Please consult your doctor.

Pregnancy interaction:

Bucelon 2 Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Seek immediate medical attention if you have unusual bruising or bleeding, or signs of infection (fever, chills, body aches) as busulfan can lower the ability of your blood to clot and body to fight infections.
Inform your doctor if you have thalassemia (abnormal hemoglobin in blood), gout (arthritis due to impaired metabolism of uric acid) or if you have had radiotherapy.
Do not receive live vaccine while using busulfan, and avoid contact with individuals who have recently received the same.
Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.

Busulfan : Headache, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Vomiting, Nausea, Decreased potassium level in blood, Abdominal pain, Loss of appetite, Anxiety, Fever, Decreased blood cells (red cells, white cells, and platelets), Diarrhea, Decreased magnesium level in blood, Stomatitis (Inflammation of the mouth), Increased glucose level in blood

How to use Bucelon 2 Tablet :

Bucelon 2 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
